Yes, everyone who was interested in doing it has got it to work. The tutorial is there, follow it and you will get it to work as well.

Having trouble

No matter how many different Ip's and ports i try i simply cannot get my rahbot to connect : [. Is there anyone who has the patience to help a noob like me out? This is what it's currently set at.

Are you sure they are valid socks proxies? Find a website or program that can check them out to see if they work or not. If you just check free lists online you have a very small chance of getting a good one without first seeing which ones work.

How do you do this for Linux cause it's not pulling from RAHBot.sh and I can't figure out where it's loading from.

in the .sh linux uses : instead of ;

That was not the problem for him. I still can't figure out what the issue is with using a proxy the way he is doing it.

How would I use this with a SOCKS proxy that has a user:password linked to it?  I've tried:

Code:
-DsocksProxyHost=IP -DsocksProxyPort=PORT
-DsocksProxyHost=user:pass@IP -DsocksProxyPort=PORT
-DsocksProxyHost=user:pass@IP -DsocksProxyPort=user:pass@PORT

None of them seem to work.  Any way to work around this? Neutral

Edit - I've also tried fidgeting with this, but it doesn't work still.

So this didn't work at all?

There may be a way to set it up system wide with java also but I'm not sure right now. I will check into it later tonight but I have to get to work soon.

Ignore it! I got it working. There was a feature on my private proxy that it only allows 1 IP access, and I just discovered it. ::Facepalm

The arguments work fine!
